Arab journalists union condemns the aggression on Ahmad Ali

The general secretariat of the Arab Journalists Union has condemned the incident of " the brutal attack that took place against the chief editor of the Qatari daily al- Watan Ahmad Ali." In a statement, the general secretariat said that the seriousness of the incident stems from the fact that it came as " a revenge on him after he criticized the practices of one of the Qatari ministers."
The statement called on the Qatari authorities to " unveil the implications of this aggression and to bring those responsible for it for trial."
