Turkey cleans its borders with Syria from mines

Farmers in the Southern eastern areas from Anadolia has welcomed the decision of the Turkish government to clean the vast areas of the borders with Syria from mines, with the aim to prepare it for cultivation.
Well-informed sources said on Tuesday that the recent Turkish decision is considered another positive step to developing bilateral relations between Syria and Turkey.
In a news, the Turkish daily Hurriet said that the Turkish prime minister Polent Acawid explained that cleaning the border strip between Syria and Turkey from mines is considered an important project in the framework of the attempts to improve the economy in the region.
