Limited cabinet reshuffle in Oman

The Sultan of Oman Qabous Bin Saeed on Sunday released two decrees. The first states to appoint Hamad Bin Muhammad al- Rashidi as the minister of information and Abdullah Bin Shwein al-Housani as the secretary of the ministry of information.
The second decree states to appoint Abdul Aziz al-Rawas, the former minister of information as a cultural advisor for Sultan Qabous.
Worthy mentioning that the new minister had occupied the post of the secretary of the ministry of information since more than 10 years, while minister al-Rawas assumed the post of the ministry of information for 25 years. The new secretary occupied the post of the information director general for more than 8 years.
