Towards Arab World for children, new conference to be held in Cairo

An Arab conference will be held early July under Egypt's First Lady Suzanne Mubarak to issue the executive framework declaration of Arab Child document under the title "towards Arab world for children".
The meetings will be held at the Arab League headquarter in preparation for effective Arab participation in the special session of UN public Assembly on childhood due next September.
The conference will approve the executive plan of Arab child document already approved by Amman Summit on March 28th. The conference to which Mrs. Mubarak was invited will be attended by the Arab states first ladies, representatives of non-governmental Arab, international organisations concerned with child's affairs and number of Arab children and youth.
The conference will focus on issues that represent challenges in the Arab region through three axes which are early childhood, basic education, and the rights of youth and their participation in the society.
On the other hand, the ministerial committee set up to develop traditional industries called antiquaries industries held a meeting mid of last week to review the suggested working plan for development and the roles to be carried out by each ministry and to prepare a comprehensive file that will be submitted to Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak next week.
Meanwhile, Minister of Industry and Technological Development Mustafa Al-Refaai said that this project was the idea of Mrs. Suzanne Mubarak to develop traditional industries that cope with world markets needs and new developments.
