Moroccan-Spanish handicraft and cookery fair opens in Algesiras

The 9th Moroccan-Spanish handicraft and cookery fair "Mediterranea 21" opened on Thursday in the Spanish southern port city of Algesiras by the local official in charge of tourism and sports, Jose Hurtado. Extending over 15,000 square meters, the fair is designed to promote rapprochement between the two Mediterranean banks through the creation of a cooperation space between Morocco and Andalusia (southern Spain).
More than 100 participants from northern Morocco and Spain were invited by the fairs institute of Cadiz, the town council of Algesiras and the northern region of Tangiers-Tetuan.
