Cezar: we will work to develop relations with Syria

The Turkish President Necdet Sezer stressed that his country wants to develop its relations with Syria in all fields on the ground of joint benefits on the ground of serving Turkey's interests with all its other neighbors.
In a speech he delivered at Harran university in Snali Orfa city, the Turkish preisdent said that there are rich potentials in order to strengthen our relations with Syria in the trade and economic fields so as to serve common interests with Syria with whom we share common culture and history on the ground of the standing cooperation between the two countries since signing of the Adanah agreement in 1998.
He added it is very important to talk about Turkey's southern neighbor, Syria " with whom we share the longest land border."
