Jeddah hosts the first Islamic international trade exhibition
Saudi Arabia-Regional, Economics, 6/9/2001

The first Islamic international trade exhibition will be held today in Jeddah. It is organized by the Islamic bank for Development and the Industrial and commercial Chamber in Jeddah.

In press statements, the chairman of the Islamic bank for Development Ahmad Muhammad Ali said that the exhibition aims at contributing to acquainting with trade and investment opportunities in the member Muslim states and the increase of trade exchange among these countries. He expressed his hope that this exhibition will lead to increasing economic cooperation and trade exchange among the Muslim states.

He explained that the Bank received the consent of 40 states of the Islamic bank's member states to take part in the exhibition which will be an opportunity for every country to tell about its products and show its possibility for trade exchange.
