Israeli settlers urge killing Palestinians
Israel-Palestine, Politics, 6/8/2001

Thousands of Jewish settlers and their partisans gathered on Wednesday in the downtown of Jerusalem to express their regret over the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon and call on him to release the Israeli military force against the Palestinians. They also raised banners and chanted slogans criticizing Sharon for not revenging the suicide attack which took place in Tel Aviv last Friday.

Gabriel Gal, who is a sergeant from the Israeli Reihfout town said that the people have been killed every day since last September saying " We are under fire and exposed to terrorist activities carried out by the Palestinians. We had given our voices to Sharon because he promised us of peace and it is very frustrated to wake up in the morning and to find out he is not fulfilling what he had promised."

Desi Ctern, a doctor who lives in a settlement in the West Bank urged for a more violent reply to the Palestinians. He said:" The god has offered us this land. We have contract on that dates back to 3800 years."
