Egyptian-Jordanian nuclear cooperation activated

Egyptian Minister of Electricity and Energy Ali AL Saedi said on Wednesday that experts from the Egyptian Nuclear Energy Agency will extend assistance to Jordan to establish a Jordanian Atomic Agency and groom technical cadres to conduct operations of radiological detection and survey.
Emerging from a meeting with officials of authorities operating in the nuclear domain, the minister said that an agreement was reached during the meeting of the Egyptian-Jordanian higher committee to activate cooperation in the nuclear field.
He said that the meeting took up the possibility of benefiting from the Egyptian expertise in the field of operating the Jordanian research reactor Amman received from China.
