Peres messages to the PA, Egypt and the US

The Lebanese daily al-Sharq said on Tuesday that it has obtained a message sent by the Israeli foreign minister Shimon Peres to each of the Palestinian Authority, Egypt and the US and the message proposes the following:

1- taking coincident steps by the Palestinian and Israeli sides on the ground that the Palestinian authority takes the first security step which does not endanger its position

2- As a reciprocated measure, the Israeli government takes a decision not to expand the settlements and

3- Forming an Israeli- palestinian and American committee to draw a declared plan after maintaining understanding on several points concerning the "Palestinian violence."
