Al-Assad, Saudi crown prince review region's conditions

The talks held between President Bashar al-Assad and the Saudi crown prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz dealt with conditions in the region and the dangers imposed on the Palestinians as a result of the Israeli oppressive practices and bilateral relations between the two countries.
On Tuesday evening, crown prince Abdullah arrived in Damascus and was welcomed at the airport by President Bashar al-Assad, vice Presidents Muhammad Zuheir Masharqa and Abdul Halim Khaddam, the foreign minister farouk al-Shara, several cabinet ministers and the Saudi ambassador in Damascus Baker Abdullah Bin baker.
The Saudi crown prince is accompanied by an official delegation including princes Nawaf Bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud; the foreign minister prince Saud al-Faisal, prince Abdul Illah Bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud of al-Jouf district, prince Faisal Bin Abdullah Bin Muhammad al-Saud the secretary of the national guards for the western sector, prince Bander Bin Sultan Bin Abdul Aziz al-Saud, the Saudi king in Washington; and several Saudi princes and key ministers.
At Tishreen Palace the President and the crown prince held a meeting, attended by the two Syrian vice Presidents, the prime minister Muhammad Mustafa Miro, the foreign minister farouk al-Shara while the Saudi side was attended by members of the delegation accompanying the crown prince.
On Tuesday evening President al-Assad and the Saudi crown prince held a meeting at al-Shaab palace. It was attended by the two vice Presidents, Premier Miro, the foreign minister Farouk al-Shara and members of the delegation accompanying the Saudi crown prince.
The two sides discussed conditions in the region, especially in the occupied Palestinian territories and the ugly practices conducted against the Palestinians as well as bilateral relations between Syria and Saudi Arabia and the importance of consultation and co-ordination between the two sides.
Meanwhile, the foreign minister Farouk al-Shara met with his Saudi counterpart prince Saud al-Faisal on Tuesday evening at Tishreen palace.
The meeting which was attended by the Saudi ambassador in Damascus, dealt with the situation in the region and the occupied territories and bilateral relations between Syria and Saudi Arabia.
