Kuwait to buy from Egypt Amoun defense system

The Kuwaiti deputy prime minister and the minister of defense Sheikh Jaber al-Mubarak has announced in a press statement issued on Tuesday in Kuwait that Kuwait will buy from Egypt " Amoun " defense system before the end of the current month, June.
In a statement to the Kuwaiti daily al-Rai al-Am Sheikh Jaber al-Mubarak said he had on Monday held talks with the advisor for the Egyptian minister of defense for armament affairs Lt. Gen. Muhammad al-Assar on fields of cooperation between the two states and means of strengthening it especially in military and defense fields and means of boosting these areas of cooperation.
He explained he will sign the contract to buy the system during his forthcoming visit to Cairo this Summer, adding that the first steps to sign the purchase agreement will be completed before the end of the current month.
