On Khaddam's visit to Lebanon

Lebanese sources described the visit made by the Syrian vice President Abdul Halim Khaddam to Beirut on Sunday as coming to calm down the tense situation between the three leaders in Lebanon ( Lahoud, al-Hariri and Berri) in light of the events which took place during the sessions of discussing the Lebanese general budget last week.
The Orient ( al-Sharq) radio quoted the said sources as saying on Tuesday that the meetings held between vice President Khaddam and the three Lebanese leaders reflected by its ultimate end an atmosphere of satisfaction which was crystal clear upon Khaddam's leaving of Baabda palace, noting that such meetings whether being different in the matters of its nature and timing, it will undoubtedly be completed at various levels.
