Iraq halts its oil exports

A source at the Iraqi ministry of oil has stated that Iraq halted pumping its oil on Monday.
He stressed that Iraq will continue exporting its crude oil outside the framework of the "oil for food" agreement to the countries and sides which are linked to it by trade and economic relations.
On the other hand, Turkish sources stressed that Iraq has halted pumping its oil to Jeihan port in the mid of Sunday night.
On Saturday Iraq has announced halting of its oil exports as from 4 GMT today Monday from Baker airport in Iraq and the Jeihan Turkish port.
