Al-Barghouthi continued the Intifada
Palestine-Israel, Politics, 6/5/2001
The secretary of the Fatah movement in the West Bank Marwan al-Barghouthi has stressed continuance of the Palestinian Intifada. He stressed that the Israelis will not enjoy security and stability unless the Palestinians enjoy freedom and independence regardless to what the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon has done.
Al-Bargouthi indicated in an interview with Sawt al-Arab radio on Monday that the Palestinian Intifada is the Palestinian message to Israel and to the West and to the world as a whole because it is the natural reply to the Israeli aggressions.
He explained that the West Bank and Gaza will be converted into a tomb for the Israeli army if they will be reoccupied and that the Palestinians are ready to defend their lands and freedom by themselves and blood and by all available means.
