Local representative jailed for corruption
Morocco, Judicial, 6/5/2001
The court of Sale, Rabat twin city, sentenced recently a local elected representative to 18 months in jail for corruption charges. The same court sentenced another communal executive to 8 months in jail for the same charges. The two convicts were found guilty of accepting bribe to deliver construction and commerce permits to citizens.
