Al-Qaddafi gets a message from Putin

Libyan President Muaammar al-Qaddafi has received a message from the Russian President Vladimir Putin in which he stressed the care of his country to develop overall relations between Libya and federal Russia in all fields.
In his message, the Russian President stressed the need on intensifying common efforts in order to implement programs and agreements laid by the joint Russian- Libyan committee.
Putin renewed his invitation to al-Qaddafi to visit Russia, noting the importance pinned on such a visit in the framework of backing bilateral relations and joint co-operation in the regional and international arenas.
The message was handed by the envoy of the Russian President Y. Primakov who was Russia's former prime minister during his meeting with al-Qaddafi on Sunday evening in Tripoli.
