NDP swoops Shura Council second run-off

National Democratic Party (NDP) Swooped the second stage of run-off elections of the Shura Council. NDP's candidates won 13 seats out of 17, while independents won 4 seats. Ministry of the interior announced the final results of six governorates.
On the other hand, run-off elections of Al-Gharbia governorate witnessed yesterday acts of riots. Supporters of an independent candidates in constituency branded stones, delayed the traffic of trains and set fire in railway. 17 citizens were injured, 6 of whom are is serious condition. Security forces could control the situation, restoring calmness to the constituencies.
