Run-off of second stage of Shura Council elections is due today in six governorates, Sharqiya, Gharbiya, Daqahliya, Damietta, Ismailia and South Sinai. 34 candidates are competing for 17 seats, including 15 National Democratic Party NDP candidates. Israeli daily "Haaretz" on Thursday quoted Gen. Yesrael Zev, commander of paratroops, as saying that the possibility of Israel's entering a comprehensive war is not ruled out.
