Four British sentenced in Saudi Arabia

The British foreign ministry on Friday said that a Saudi court sentenced four British to be jailed and imprisonment under charges of trading in alcohol, at a time when the British daily the "Independent" quoted an official at the British ministry of the Interior that his country will protest against this because it " constitute a violation to human rights." On May 26; the court of al-Riyadh sentenced Kelven Houkins for two and a half years together with 500 slaps by whip ( according to Islamic Sharia) and Paul Moose for two years Imprisonment and 500 slaps and other two of similar sentences.
The British foreign ministry said that the government considers that " to slap" is a sort of violation to human rights.
