The Gulf ministerial meeting discusses the Palestinian uprising; Iraq

The foreign ministers of the Gulf Cooperation Council states (GCC) will discuss in their today meeting in Jeddah the two questions of the Palestinian Intifada and the relations with Iraq.

In a statement issued on Thursday in al-Riyadh, the GCC said that the GCC ministers who are invited to convene an ordinary session will discuss the developments in the occupied Palestinian territories and that the discussion will also deal with the efforts made to resume the peace process especially on the Palestinian track.

The six GCC foreign ministers of ( Saudi Arabia; United Arab Emirates; Kuwait; Qatar; Oman and Bahrain) will discuss the situation in the Arab Gulf region including the relations between Iraq and Iran.

The GCC foreign ministers who held their recent meeting in March this year will also discuss inter- cooperation relations between the GCC member states.
