Speaker of Shura Council: Political parties work for the Egypt

Run-off of second stage of Shura Council elections is due today in six governorates, Sharqiya, Gharbiya, Daqahliya, Damietta, Ismailia and South Sinai. 34 candidates are competing for 17 seats, including 15 National Democratic Party NDP candidates. Minister of Interior Habib Al Adli said security forces will secure the polling stations in 14 constituencies.
Speaker of Shura Council Mostafa Kamal Helmy said that there are 16 political parties, different in their policies and means, but all work for the good of Egypt.
