Environment ministry affirms application of Monterial protocol

A regional symposium on the importance of Arab armed forces in protecting the ozon layer, climate and the environment concluded on Friday.
Syrian Minister of State for Environment Affairs Farouk al-Adeli confirmed the twinship between the ministries of defence and environment.
He pointed out that the political leadership in Syria pays great attention to the protection of both the environment and ozon layer by the application of Monterial protocol, while Israel uproots the trees in the occupied lands and Israeli waste disposal endangers the region as a whole.
