Irrigation minister named acting interior minister

"Two republican decrees have been issued appointing Minister of Irrigation Mahmoud Thiayb al-Ahmed Acting Interior Minister and relieving Mohammed Hamza al-Zubeidi of his post as Deputy Prime Minister," INA said in a report yesterday.
The report added "The Revolution Command Council also issued a statement in which it relieved Mohammed Hamza al-Zubeidi from the Council membership."
