Syria's defence minister affirms Damascus' full support to intifada

Syrian Defence Minister 1st Lt.Gen. Mustafa Tlass on Wednesday discussed with a delegation of the leadership of the Popular Front for Liberation of Palestine means of supporting the Palestinian Intifada and ensuring its continuity. He affirmed Syria's support to the Palestinian people's struggle against Israel. The Defence Minister had t already met chief of the Democratic Front for Liberation of Palestine Nayef Hawatmeh. The meeting covered"ways of supporting the Intifada and the possibilities of an Israeli aggression against Syria and Lebanon."
