Moroccans living in Spain estimated at over 200,000

The total number of Moroccans legally living in Spain reached up to last March 200,396, said Spanish official sources. The Spanish authorities in charge of foreigners and immigration said the latest operation to regularize the situation of illegal immigrants has covered 38,526 Moroccans who were delivered stay and work permits.
They also expected the number will rise as Spain will study appeals to rejected applications submitted by 33,000 Moroccans who are still in an illegal situation in Spain.
