Students involved in a brawl sentenced

The first instance court of Fez on Tuesday sentenced a group of students involved in a brawl with inhabitants of a district neighboring the campus to prison sentences ranging between 4 months imprisonment terms to 2 month suspended prison sentences.
Fifty six students got a sentence of four months in prison, 22 other were sentenced to three months in prison and 19 others to a suspended two-month prison term.
The students were facing charges of looting public properties and sequestration of civil servants. They were arrested following a quarrel this May 14, which left one person dead and considerable material damage.
