Yemeni president visits Saudi Arabia

The Yemeni President Ali Abdullah Saleh on Tuesday started a visit to the Saudi city of Jeddah aiming at strengthening bilateral relations, just several days from the visit held by the Saudi crown prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz to Aden on the occasion of Yemen's celebrations of the 11s anniversary of the unification of the two parts of Yemen.

This visit was the first following the signing of the agreement which ended the border differences between the two states in June 2000.

Saleh, who is accompanied by a large delegation, will discuss with the Saudi King and with the crown prince Abdullah means of strengthening bilateral relations and recent developments on the Arab, Islamic and international arenas especially conditions in the Palestinian territories.
