Mubarak visits Saudi Arabia; UAE

President Hosni Mubarak of Egypt on Sunday concluded a tour which covered Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates and aimed at formulating a united Arab position regarding the Israeli attacks against the Palestinians and seeking to draw an Arab strategy demanding the implementation of UN resolutions

The UAE news agency said that President Mubarak and President of the UAE Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan al-Nahyan discussed in Abu Dhabi the "continued efforts to halt the Israeli aggression against the Palestinians" and stressed that "the US and the international community have to play an active and decisive role in halting the aggression and the Israeli massacre against the Palestinians and to salvage the ME peace process."

The agency added that Zayed addressed Mubarak as saying "the Arab nation has known you a clear leader who says the truth and always serves the causes of your nation."
