Bundestag delegation calls resumption of Palestinian-Israeli negotiations

Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Maher Thursday received a delegation from the German Parliament (Bundestag) led by Chairman of the Foreign Relations Committee Hans Ulrich, currently visiting Cairo. Speaking to the press after the meeting, Klaus said that they reviewed the latest developments in the region in light of escalation of violence between the Palestinian and Israeli sides.
He said his talks in Cairo aim at closely getting acquainted with those events through a current tour by the delegation which includes beside Egypt Lebanon and Syria.
