Two Palestinian killed, 20 wounded in confrontations with Israeli forces

Two Palestinians were killed and more than 20 wounded in a new Israeli escalation against the Palestinian territories.

Meantime, the Israeli forces incurred in three Palestinians areas in Gaza amid intensive fire from the Israeli armored vehicles and tanks.

The palestinian teenager Alaa Adel al-Bouji was killed in front of his house in Tel al-Sultan in Rafah while the Palestinian disabled Shadi Seyam ( 20 year old) was killed at Yabna camp also near Rafah and the Israeli bombardment destroyed three houses and inflected heavy damages.

The Israeli forces imposed a military siege and a curfew on Salfeit town which is close to Nablus after the killing of one Israeli settler and wounding of three in the two settlements of Jelo and Ariel in the West Bank.

In the political field, the Palestinians stressed that the Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon seeks a new escalation and that his claims to cease- fire are lies and are groundless. They stressed that the Mitchell report will be of no significance if the Israeli settlement operations will continue in the West Bank and Gaza.

Meanwhile, the Israeli tanks bombarded Sheikh Ajleen district near Natsareim settlement to the south of Gaza and incurred hundreds of meters and closed the coastal highway which links the north part of Gaza to its south.

In statements to the press, the commander of the Palestinian national security in Gaza Maj. Gen. Saeb al-Ajez said the Israeli bombardment inflicted heavy damages in the houses of the Palestinians in the region.

Palestinian security sources said that several Israeli tanks and armored vehicles were seen while trying to incur in the Palestinian areas into Yabna camp in Rafah and that one of the tanks incurred for 20 meters into the Palestinian territories in the camp.

The sources said that the reinforced Israeli army opened fire intensively during the new incursion operation.
