Speaker of Portuguese Parliament in Morocco Thursday

Speaker of the Portuguese parliament, Almeda Santos, pays an official visit to Morocco May 24-27, at the invitation of speaker of the House of representatives (lower house of the Moroccan parliament), Abdelouahed Radi.
In addition to talks with Radi and the speaker of the upper house, Mustapha Oukacha, Almeda Santos will confer with Moroccan premier, Abderrahmane Youssoufi, and several members of the cabinet.
Work session with heads of parliamentary groups are also on the schedule.
The visit is meant to enhance the "excellent" relations existing between the two countries and to foster regular dialogue between them in order to serve the causes of development, peace and stability in the Mediterranean and in the world, a statement by the House of Representatives said.
