Al-Imadi to Baghdad today

At the invitation of the Iraqi minister of commerce Mahdi Saleh, the Syrian minister of the economy and foreign trade Muhammad al-Imadi will leave today for Iraq in an official visit to Baghdad which will last for three days during which he will preside over the Syrian side to the meetings of the Syrian- Iraqi joint committee.
Al-Imadi will hold technical, trade and economic talks with the Iraqi side aiming at revitalizing bilateral relations between the two states in all fields and the developments of agreements signed between the two sides as well as to sign several agreements aiming at strengthening economic, scientific, technical and cultural co-operation in the service of the two peoples and countries and the Arab nation.
Al-Imadi is accompanied by an economic delegation including the ministers of economy, health and irrigation, several directors general and technicians concerned of certain economic, industrial, agricultural, banking, educational and cultural establishments. Al-Imadi is also accompanied by a trade delegation including Syrian trade and industrialist activists.
