Uprising, sole means for Palestinian independence, diplomat

The Intifada, uprising, is the sole means for the Palestinian people to obtain its independence, Palestinian ambassador to Morocco, Abu Marwane, said Friday.
The Israeli blitzes are only consolidating the Palestinian people's determination to continue their intifada, Abu Marwane told the second Moroccan TV channel 2M.
The diplomat, who termed as "shameful" the silence of the world, especially the United States, urged the international community to put an end to this tragedy that adversely impact the Middle-East region as a whole.
Nine Palestinians were killed and a hundred others were injured in Israeli air strikes using jet fighters against civilian centers in the West Bank and Gaza.
