Six Israelis killed, 115 wounded in a Palestinian suicide attack

Confrontations continued on Friday in the occupied Palestinian territories, the Palestinian youths retaliated the attacks of the Israeli forces, while a strong explosion hit Nathania settlement to the north of Tel Aviv and resulted in killing one Israeli army soldier and wounding two others in the confrontation with the Intifada youths near Ramullah.

Violent confrontation erupted between the Arab youths and the Israeli forces near al-Mintar in retaliation to the Israeli soldiers opening of fire at Palestinian citizens and wounding 5 of them seriously, including three children.

The Palestinian youth ( Muhammad Ahmad Marmash ( 21 year old) from Toulkarem detonated several explosives in a trade center at the entrance of Nathania settlement despite the fact that the Israeli forces prevented him from entering the center from its main door.

The Hamas resistance movement said that Marmash is a member if this movement, while Israeli sources admitted that 6 Israeli settlers were killed immediately and that the number of wounded exceeded 100 and that this operation is number 15 against this settlement.

The Israeli defense minister Ariel Sharon threatened to oppress the Palestinians. He claimed, following this operation, that his government will work to restore back security and stability to all the Israelis.

Sharon had held a meeting for his mini- cabinet dedicated to discuss the Palestinian suicide attack.

Meantime, Palestinian news reports said that the Israeli warplanes ( F- 16) bombarded the headquarters of the security forces in Ramullah and Nablus and this resulted in killing 10 Palestinians and wounding 60 in a missile explosion.

The Israeli forces also fired missiles at Gaza and one of them fell near the headquarters of the chairman of the Palestinian Authority Yasser Arafat.

Meanwhile the AFP said that more than 180 Palestinian families left by means of force Beit Jala as a result of the Israeli bombardment of the city and the destruction of hundreds of its houses and these families were obligated to evacuate for Bethlehem, SANA reported.
