A comprehensive change is expected in Jordan

The Jordanian weekly Sheihan issued on Friday said that several matters took place in Jordan in the few past months had provoked the regret of the Jordanian King that will accelerate making comprehensive changes in October this year.

The weekly added that among these matters and its reasons were the attempts made by the government and parliament members to extend the term of office for the Parliament and the delay of the parliament members to preparing a new election law as well as the row that took place between two parliament members at the parliament as well as the incidents of last Friday between Islamists and the security authorities on the background of holding a solidarity festival with Palestine and the Intifada.
