Chirac awarded Moussa with French order of merit

The French foreign ministry said on Friday in Paris that the French President Jacques Chirac decided to offer the secretary General of the Arab League Amr Moussa, the French order of Merit.
The French ministry explained that this was made as an appreciation for the efforts Moussa had made when he was his country's foreign minister to foster friendship and cooperation relations between Egypt and France.
