King Mohammed's visit to Senegal will boost bilateral ties, palace spokesman says
Morocco-Senegal, Politics, 5/18/2001

The visit Morocco's King Mohammed VI will pay to Senegal will give an impetus to relations between Rabat and Dakar, Hassan Aourid, Official Spokesman of the Royal Palace said. King Mohammed VI will start on May 22 an official visit to Senegal at the invitation of President Wade.

The visit will also contribute to the consolidation of south-south exchanges and cooperation, Aourid said in a statement, adding that the king's trip to Dakar will be an opportunity to examine adequate solutions to the problems facing Africa. "The two heads of state (King Mohammed VI and President Abdoulay Wade) share the same faith in the dignity of the African man and in the role Africa should play within the international community," he said.
