Israel expands military moves in south Lebanon, warplanes violate airspace

The Lebanese occupied Shebaa farms are witnessing military moves between various military positions of the Israeli occupation forces under intensive flying of the Israeli helicopters.

Security sources said that the workshops of the Israeli forces continued their works in constructing a military road in Wadi al-Asaal which links the Syrian Banias city ( occupied by the Israeli forces in the Golan) to Tellat al-Migher inside the occupied Shebaa farms.

The security sources explained that the Israeli warplanes violated on Thursday the Lebanese airspace and flew in most of the airspace of south Lebanon's area and the western Bekaa until Baalbek, to the east of Lebanon where they broke the sound barrier.

Meanwhile, the Israeli warplanes flew intensively at low altitude in the airspace of the confrontation area in al-Arqoub, especially over Shebaa farms and Kafer Shouba hills, where mock and provocative raids were carried out.

Meantime, the speaker of the Lebanese parliament Nabih Berri has criticized the decision taken by the US parliament to cancel the American aids to Lebanon.

In a statement he addressed to the speaker of the US parliament Berri indicated that the US aids to Lebanon are even less than the " interests" of the military aids given by the US to Israel. And this is an evidence on the bias of the American administration to israel.

On the other hand, the Lebanese Prime Minister Rafiq al-Hariri on Thursday received a message from the US secretary of State Colin Powell conveyed by the US ambassador in Lebanon.

In his message, the Powell stressed support for Lebanon and to the measures taken by the Lebanese government to support its economic conditions.
