Al-Khartoum voices backing to Iraq

The Sudanese President Omar al-Bashir has renewed the stand of the Sudanese people in support of the Iraqis against the sanctions imposed on it.
During his meeting on Wednesday in al- Khartoum with the Iraqi minister of agriculture Abdullah Muhammad Ali, the Sudanese President Omar Hassan al-Bashir stressed that Sudan's agricultural potentials are available for all Arab states. He called for the integration of Arab efforts towards finding out an Arab strategic food storage.
For his part, the Iraqi minister said that the meeting with President al-Bashir dealt with issues discussed by the Sudanese- Iraqi joint ministerial committee in its 15th session currently held in al-Khartoum, stressing the importance of cooperation between the two states in various fields.
On the other hand, al-Bashir called during his meeting on Wednesday with the new director of the Arab Agricultural Development Organization Salim al-Louzi to boost joint Arab work in order to achieve Arab security in nutritional, water and environmental areas. He also called for exchanging expertise and training among the Arab states.
