M. Abdul-Moaty: creative beauty

The Alexandria atelier show-halls now embrace pretty formations created by painter-artist Mostafa Abdul-Moaty. The beautiful paintings reflect the intellectual and artistic attitudes of the sixties when Egypt experienced political and cultural reactions that had been represented in creations that attracted the world at large.
Abdul-Moaty, born 1938, resembles one of the contemporary Egyptian artistic symbols. He participated in the Experimental Art Society bearing the revolutionary conceptions in search for self-assertion and fresh beauty visualizations.
That Alexandrian artist toured throughout Egypt from the farthest north down to the deep south city of Asswan where he depicted various expressionist indications characterized by vague, yet charming symbols. His are so simple, so geometric, so metaphysical formations that you feel musical harmonious conform in both the foreground and the background. The colors, lines and diversification in shapes attract the witness' eyes.
