Egyptian -Sudanese relation eternal

Egyptian Minister of Information Safwat Al Sherif said Mubarak-Al Bashir meeting came in a framework of fraternity and understanding that reflect eternal and historical relations linking the two brotherly peoples.

The two leaders underlined the need for sustaining consultations on ways of furthering interests of the two countries.

They both asserted that the development of the joint committee activity is an expression of the political will to deepen, develop relations and expanding horizons of the joint work.

President Mubarak said the two states are linked together by historical relations that serve as a base for promoting joint interests of both countries.

Safwat Al Sherif said following the session, President Omar Al Bashir and Prime Minister Atef Ebeid held bilateral meetings.

The Sudanese Ministers met with their Egyptian counterparts in the fields of finance, industry and investment.

Bilateral meetings were held between the ministers of defense, and the ministers of foreign affairs, a similar meeting was held between the ministers of information.

The Sudanese leader left Egypt for Brussels.

Observers in Khartoum pin hopes on this visit in shoring up relations between the two countries especially in the economic domain and activating the Egyptian -Libyan initiative on achieving national reconciliation in Sudan.
