National Council for Women calls for female judiciary on elections

The National Council for Women called for the necessity of women participation in the judicial supervision of Shura Council mid-term elections through taking part in the electoral Comittees.
The Council's Secretary-General Farkhanda Hassan said that she set an appeal in this concern to Minister of Justice, Farouk Seif Al-Nasr.
She pointed that in the Council's appeal she said that women absence from supervising elections is not justified specially that there are women of high potential in the administrative prosecution and there is nothing to prevent them from supervising the elections.
Moreover, Farkhanda Hassan underlined the necessity of collaborating all efforts for deepening women role in the political participation according to Mrs Suzanne Mubarak directives.
Furthermore, the Council's Secretary General met last Thursday with Shura Council female candidates and called on them to work hard for achieving distinguished female existence in the election process and for overriding obstacles facing female candidates.
