Football: Morocco bids to host world clubs cup

Morocco has submitted its candidacy to host the 2005 World Clubs Cup, said the world football governing body (FIFA).
Morocco bids against Croatia, Kuwait, Guatemala, Korea, Saudi Arabia, Australia, England, Scotland, Egypt, the USA, Japan, Uruguay and Qatar.
Another Maghreban country, Tunisia, is bidding for the 2003 edition together with England, Saudi Arabia, Scotland, Egypt, the USA, Iran, Japan, Mexico, Qatar and Uruguay.
The host countries will be chosen by FIFA next July.
