Koreyah employment contract expires

The London - based al-Sharq al-Awsat daily issued on Friday said that the contract of the director of the press office at the Syrian presidential palace Jibran Koreyah, who is over 70 year old, has expired three days ago. The paper indicated that Koreyah was appointed in his post at the director for the Presidential press office in 1980 instead of his predecessor Ahmad Kamel Elias who has become since then an advisor at the Syrian presidency.
