Kharazi visits Saudi Arabia

The Iranian foreign minister Kamal Kharazi starts tomorrow a one - day visit to Saudi Arabia during which he will deliver a message from the Iranian President Muhammad Khatami to King Fahd Bin Abdul Aziz. He will also meet with the Saudi crown prince Abdullah Bin Abdul Aziz.
A source at the Iranian embassy in Saudi Arabia said that Kharazi's visit falls in the " course of continued consultations between the two countries" and that the message he carries pertains to " bilateral, regional and international issues of mutual concern." He did not deny that the Iranian minister will discuss with the Saudi officials the tense situations in the Palestinian territories and Iraq.
