Syrian minister confers with fact- finding commission
Syria-Israel, Politics, 5/11/2001

The Minister of state for foreign affairs Nasser Qaddour on Thursday stressed upon meeting with the International Labor Committee ILC facts finding commission regarding conditions of the Syrian workers in the Golan and other occupied Arab territories that words about the Israeli daily practices conducted against Arab citizens including workers are still not enough and the heart of the matter is the great sufferings of the Palestinian children, women and men and Israel's violation of international legitimacy resolutions.

The chairman of the " equality department" at the International labor office Mr. Lee Sobiston expressed thanks to the minister over the information provided by the Syrian government to the committee. He stressed that the committee will note in its report the Syrian notes and observations so as the committee's report will be precise.
