Arab League probes Egypt- Jordan initiative

The Higher Committee on follow-up, emanating from the Arab League will meet in Cairo at the end of May. The Committee, headed by Jordanian Foreign Minister Abdel Ellah Al-Khattib will center on the Egyptian-Jordanian Committee means to enforce the Arab Summits' resolutions on setting up two funds for backing Palestinian Intifada and protecting Jerusalem and the outcome of efforts exerted by King Abdullah II of Jordan and Arab-League Secretary General Esmat Abdul Maguid to settle "the state of affairs" between Kuwait and Iraq.
