Egypt, Libya to promote bilateral relations

At the end of the seventh closing session of the joint higher Egyptian -Libyan Committee, Egypt and Libya signed 11 agreements, executive programs and protocols on cooperation in the commercial, economic and investment fields.

Egyptian Prime Minister Atef Ebeid and Secretary of the Libyan people's committee Mubarak AL Shamekh attended the signing ceremonies.

Ebeid said the two sides are convinced of the need to double integration and cooperation between them, indicating that the volume of trade between the two countries would grow mainly in the field of services and utilities.

The agreements and protocols signed cover social care, scientific and technological cooperation, power linkage, housing, reconstruction, information, culture, the establishment of an oil and mining company, a company for electricity services besides cooperation in the field of basic education, scientific research, youth and sports.
