Ahmad Jibril and the weapon ship

The commander of the People's Front for the Liberation of Palestine ( General Command) Ahmad Jibril said that his front was behind sending the weapons shipment seized by Israel and threatened to send more weapons to help the Palestinians defending themselves.

News reports added that Jibril accused the US naval forces working in the Mediterranean of helping Israel to seize the ship which was carrying weapons, in international waters.

In a telephone interview with the Qatari al-Jazira station, Jibril said:" we are behind this shipment and it was not the first and will not be the last." He added that the ship was carrying four tons f weapons and denied what was states by Israel that it seized in its territorial waters.

He continued we have initial information that cooperation was maintained between the US 6th fleet and the Israeli navy, noting " the Israelis lie when they say that the seized the ship at Raas al-Naqoura," noting it was seized in an area in the Mediterranean between Israel and Lebanon.

He said that the ship was seized in the international waters and not in the territorial waters of any state.
